Weight Watchers Support
Permalink Closed

Is anyone still on Weight Watchers?  I currently weigh about 10 pounds more than I did before I got pregnant, and I'd like to lose that plus maybe an additional 5.

Anyway, I signed up for the online version and I've been doing it for about a week.  I'm doing flex and so far I'm doing ok, but today I had to take 18 points because I accidently ate a whole box of cereal.  It was at my desk and i've been munching on it since Monday.  I didn't realize how much I was eating so I wasn't taking points for it, but now it's gone so obviously I have to account for it.  Ugh.

So, would anyone like to post here daily and we can talk about what we eat and points and stuff?  I have an awful habit of keeping stuff nearby and munching, and then not realizing how much I'm eating.  I'm not going to meetings and I think the support would really help.  Thanks, girls!

I'm in - I had lost about 20 & I'm back up about 5 pounds since - I really need to get back on track because I'd like to lose another 20 before NY at Thanksgiving (still possible, right?)

I stopped going to meetings because I just can't always get there & it just got expensive, but I don't do as well on my own.

oh i've been looking for the online support group to get back together on here.  I am in desperate need of some ww support.  I'm stalled out about 10 pounds heavier than I care to be and no self control in sight.  I would love to try again with you tss

Yay!  Thanks, girls   I think having support will really help.  How do you guys want to do it?  Should we just post daily points and exercise and then weekly weight loss?

I think that's a perfect idea - it could revive the diet / exercise thread that we tend to drop when no one is eating well. That way everyone can join in, not just us WW gals.

This has already helped me. Instead of going to pick up breakfast at McDonalds which is oh so much easier, I actually thought it out this morning. I also weighed again & I'm up 6 additional lbs, not 5, so that wasn't a fun discovery.

Sounds great!  Are you guys ok with next Friday being our first weight check day?  That gives us a week to get back on track.

Laken, don't feel bad.  I ate about 45 points yesterday! Eeek!

Aurora, I've never done this before so I don't know exactly what we do with the email list, but I'm in!  I know it's only been a day but I've been doing so much better knowing that I have support and that I have to tell other people what I've been eating.

Oh, and if there's ever a day when I don't post, it's probably cause I ate horribly....so if that ever happens I'm expecting you guys to harass me and hold me accountable!

Hi, laken1 and I were posting today in the diet/exercise forum(my fault) about how I 100% overate this week and am trying to figure out the point system.

I slimmed down for my wedding April '05 and have now gained abt 15 lbs. I want to lose 10lbs (i have no dreams of fitting into my dress again) and have my clothes fit the way they should.

I've done it before and I KNOW i can do it again, but after reviewing my pts from this week I was shocked!

I can't promise to post my pts/exercise each day(i never know my work schedule) but I promise to show up with 0pt mini carrots for support!

I'll try to find a before/after pix from my old trainer. It's funny!

I had to buy a new dress for a friend's wedding next week because the one I have doesn't fit! my husband's siked bc my boobs got bigger, but alas, my gorgeous dress is collecting dust! That was my wake-up call.

Honestly tho, my-skinny-self thought taking in that dress was a good idea. If I ever see her again I'll have a long talk with her, then take her out for a drink!

Okay, I'm inspired.  I'll rejoin Weight Watchers this week and maybe this time I can stick to it.  I will join in on posting my daily stats.  I WISH I only had 10 lbs. to lose!  Thanks for helping to motivate me-I really need to do this!
