I :heart all trapeze dresses. Trapeze dresses means no one will find out I have love handles and nothing with constrict my waistline.


I think this Marc by MJ one is perfect, but I'd rather have a color I can wear with brown...plus it's $388 which although it's wool, it is kinda steep. Any looks for less? Is this even cute?

I saw a SATC the other night and Carrie was wearing a bubble trapeze dress. She looked cute in it because her extremities were very tiny (arms, legs). I could never get away with it because my legs are too big, imo and I'd be afraid I'd look big all over.


That said, I think it is a cute, 60sesque look and if anyone could rock it, it'd be you. I'll be on the look out for looks for less.

Hmm, I can't actually say I'm a big fan of that MJ one.  I think the trapeze dress trend is still trickling down, so you'll probably have a larger selection in a few weeks.  Here are some trapeze styles I have found, though not to many long sleeves yet:

i love that dress! i've seen it in person and think it's so cute. additionally i totally wear gray with brown, i think gray is pretty much the perfect neutral, since it's way less harsh than dress.


i would probably stalk f21. also check ebay for the fake mj's from china.

honey, did you try it on by any chance? i know MJ sizing is so weird (own shirt in 10 and skirt in 4...the shirt's almost too small)


i am planning on keeping an eye on it though at all the stores and the second it hits the sale rack i'll go for it.
