I'm looking for an inexpensive pair that aren't too terribly tight in the calf.  I tried a pair on a Target but grabbed my regular size (too tight ) and didn't have the patience to try on the next size or two up.  Anyone had luck at an inexpensive, mall-type store?

How much are the ones at Express?  I was hoping to be in the <$30 range, since I don't anticipate wearing them for too long ...

Found a pair at Gap that are fabulous. But they are $58. They fit perfectly though.

I 2nd Express.  I got a pair there for $10, though I'm not sure they still have that sale.  I have seen ones there for $29.50 too.

Otherwise, try Old Navy.  Their pants never fit me, but I know they have some inexpensive ones.

They are on sale right now for $20 off. I think they're regularly $58, so you should be able to get them for $38. Slightly over your budget.

Try Old Navy. The pair I tried there had a wider calf than the Target ones.

Perfect!  I'm going to check out ON today since it's closest, and if I strike out there I'll head over to Express and Gap.

Thanks girls!

Did you all have to size up, for the most part?

Me either! I can get them on, but if I sit in them or bend over- not good!! Im so not in to that look! I did get some really cute gaucho jeans there that fit great for 25.00. I also noticed that they have brought back the curvy fit style- I didnt see them for a long time, and was so pissed when they discontinued them, or didnt carry them at my gap anymore, at least- but I saw them again last week... didnt try them on though, dont know if the fit is the same as it used to be.

I'd go with Express too.  I have big calves, and the skinny jeans at Express actually worked on me.  They're $39.50 right now.

None as of yet .

The skinny jeans at ON where atrocious, but their straight stretch jeans fit better.  They were a bit high waisted for me though, and created crotch creases that I didn't care for.

Haven't gotten out to the mall yet, but I'm going to go later this week and give Express a whirl.
