Normally I love Zara--their stuff is a little overpriced for the quality but they do such nice versions of all the high-end runway stuff that I don't really mind--the clothes are beautiful. So I went there today in search of a fall pencil skirt, and discovered that they have apparently moved from numbered sizing on their skirts to S, M and L. This was not a good idea by them.
I COULD NOT EVEN FIT INTO A MEDIUM.
I wear a SIX. So I guess that means small is size 2, medium is size 4, and large is size 6, and if you're bigger than a six, you're SOL. It wasn't even, "oh, this is just a little too tight," it was WAY too tight. In a medium.
Problem is, the actual skirt was perfect, and I'm sure a large would look great--but now I'm so irritated over the stupid sizing that I don't even want to buy it from them.
