I took this pic to a dressmaker last fall with hopes of a fabulous dress at a cut in the cost but it turned out completely awful. Worse than I could have ever imagined.

BUT I'm anxious to see if someone else can do it because it's a beautiful dress and I think if a person was used to the pattern, they could do a good job.

I definitely want a review when you get it. About how long until it comes in?

what color did you pick? its so hard to tell how the finished product will look with those small samples... good luck! you must post pics!!

thanks for being the guinea pig! i wanted to order that mcqueen dress (the galaxy dress is by roland mouret, just to avoid confusion) too....decided to make my measurements smaller first-hehe

i'm so anxious to get it, but it will be at least a couple weeks before it arrives- has to be made and then shipped from china...

i got it in a sort of light rose color, stretch wool. i also am having it made a bit shorter (right at the knee instead of below).

jmango, thx for the clarification, had no idea it was mcqueen!

my hopes are super high because of their feedback- it is so damn good!

i'll keep you guys posted...
