What is Nordstrom's policy for returns without a receipt? I bought some Puma's during the aniversary sale and when I wore them they gave me terrible blisters. I threw out the receipt once I wore them but now I want to return them. Of course, I paid cash. Will they give me back cash or will they give me a store credit? Or will they return them at all since I did wear them?
Without a receipt they give you store credit. However, since you wore them most stores don't want to take them back (because they can't resale them- who wants to buy used shoes), but Nordstrom's is a different story. I know in the past they would take anything and everything back, but recently they have gotten stricter on the return policy. The most you can do is try.

It should have a barcode sticker on the box that acts as a receipt. Even if it doesn't have it, they will take it back. Just explain it to them. I took a pair back and the barcode wouldn't scan at all. They offered me cash back or a gift card.
From what I've heard in the past, even if you return a pair of shoes that hasn't been worn they won't resell them. They just send them to Nordstrom Rack stores. I could be wrong, but I know that I heard that a couple of places.
They will definitely take them back and either give you cash back or at the very least, store credit. My friend just returned a dress she wore one time that got a huge rip in it and she didn't have the tags - they printed out her order confirmation since she ordered online and she was good to go.
