Another nay. For those stripes to look good on someone they would have to be stick thin.  I am assuming the model most likely is (stereotype and looking at her legs and neck) and she looks larger than necessary in it.

Agreed with the other nays... I have seen a ton of black horizontally striped shirts, sweaters and tunics in the stores this fall and I think that you can find one that would be much cuter whatever your price range is.
