i'm trying to book a ticket to texas and i don't have the cc i want to use on me.  i sign into my account online, but of course they don't have the entire cc number on there, just the last four digits, for security reasons.  so i call, and they won't give me the number over the phone!  now i can understand i guses, with the incrase in identity theft and all, but can't i prove that i'm me and have you give me my goddamn account number?!  she's like "there's no one at home who can get the card for you and give you the number?"  i said "no, everyone is at work and the dog hasn't mastered holding the phone yet."  like i wouldn't have thought of that one on my own?


ughhhh just had to vent.  if the f'n price goes up before i can book this ticket i'm going to be really mad.

Oh man, that does suck, but hopefully you'll still get to book your flight. What part of Texas are you going to, if you don't mind me asking?

who are you booking through? I know that when I go directly through american that I can put a ticket on hold & it stays at that rate until the following day at midnight. I hold most of my tickets & make sure they are cheaper & then book later & have never had a problem. Maybe who you are using has a similar service?
