I was in my hometown yesterday and took my little brother school shopping (he has a lot more patience when shopping with me vs my mom, and my mom has far less patience for shopping in general...so every semester she gives us a wad of cash and sets us loose!)

While he was trying things on I went looking for this (thanks to Tashina)...I had to get it because it is so cute, and the Fleur de lis is my city's mascot

ETA:

this might be TMI, but I'm excited because it's the only shopping I've been able to do for a while, it's like I don't have time lately! (the horror! I know! and I have money just waiting to be spent) And, I'm excited because it's supremely hard to find bras in my size that a)I can afford b) are not grandma bras. So these look basic...but this is big for me :)

on sale for $19.99. The skirt looks much better in person and is actually low rise instead of at the waist as it looks in this pic.

Damn Shopbop and its wiley ways...

Despite being on super tight money patrol right now, I was excited by the free shipping and checked out the sale. I impulsively bought the What Comes Around Linen Jacket in Black for $53 -- it looked adorable and like something I could wear over tanks in the fall as well as by itself. I got the last one in stock, but it looked like this one by the same designer:

Eee! Now I just need leggings, blouses, a new coat, new jeans, some more tights and, oh god, my bank account is in trouble I can already feel it.
