I think the outfit looks really cheap.  It didn't look cheap when they did it on Project Runway, but the recreation of it looks super cheap.  Also it is kind of expensive.  $129 for that jacket.  They only had a buget of $100 to create it in the first place.

I actually saw it IRL at Macys on Thursday morning after the show aired. I thought it lookedcheesy/cheap. I can't put my finger on it put INC typically has a cheap, frumpiness to it and this was no exception. I also thought the rosettes were just random.

I saw it on the website with the close-up photos too.  Didn't look the same to me, even the rosettes.  The first thing I thought was CHEAP!  Second thing I thought that it was overly expensive for INC.  Wasn't it more of a black than grey on the show?

Hmmm...I like the pants, but the pants and the jacket together are too matchy for me.  Of course, I have no use for suits or anything that involves matching pants with a jacket.

Definitely too expensive for INC.

Hmmmm...I thought Angela's version on the runway looked way better.

I generally don't like the way INC is cut and this rendition is no exception. Also, the rosettes which seemed cute and funky on the original now seem out of place.

Yeah I can't believe I'm saying this about something of Angela's, but on the show the rosettes were... subtler. From what I could tell, the outfit on the show looked to be made out of like a wool gabardine or something similar, and the rosettes somehow weren't as shiny; whereas this looks like 100% polyester--cheap and uncomfortable.

I'm not a big Angela fan in theory, but I did like this outfit on the runway.  I think Cortney is right; it did seem like black on the show.  This picture makes me itch just looking at it.

On a similar note, is anyone else pissed they don't pair with Banana Republic anymore?  BR to INC is such a let down.

I'm not a BR fan but I do agree this was a letdown. I think that they should go for a slightly less overexposed brand otherwise know for interesting and well-cut womenswear. I'd love to see a brand like Club Monaco pair with Porject Runway.

On second thought...H&M seems like a better fit as well but they don't pay me to brainstrom ideas for potential sponsors so that's me.
