I saw this bag at Anthro the other day and fell in love. I don't really want to pay $428 for it but I guess I could wait and see if it goes on sale. Also, the buckle opens a bit clumsily. The moss green color is what I loved most about it.
Then I stumbled across this bag that is a lot smaller but also a lot cheaper - on sale for $60. I haven't seen it IRL but the color looks very nice in the pic. The quality of the leather is very important to me, though, and I can't really tell how the leather is from the pic.
Well, the J. Jill bag just sold out so I certainly won't be getting that one. And I haven't met a bag yet I would pay $400+ for, so I think I'll just wait and see. Anthro does tend to have pretty good mark-downs on bags.
if you love the anthro bag- its certainly stalkable. Just get the store SKU # on the tag, and watch it online every day or so, and visit in the store. You can call and have them price check that number on the phone, maybe once a week or so in a couple months. And then if its sold by the time that it goes down in price from your particular anthro, then they can check their stores for it w/the sku number and send it to you. But online they tend to go on sale quicker.
Thanks for the great tip on the SKU number, lynnie! Let the stalking begin!
Lilykind, I love the Hayden-Harnett. There's just something about the Anthro bag (I think the brand is Corsia) that really appeals to me. It's so sturdy and substantial-looking.
