hey guys!


i stopped by Express this past week and tried on a couple of pairs of skinny jeans.  i took a picture of one pair that i tried and wanted to get your opinions...  i actually wasn't as disgusted with the way they look on me as i thought i would be.  in fact, i kind of liked them...


i don't want the skinnys to wear with reg. shoes.  i want them to have to be able to easily tuck into my knee boots for fall/winter.



what do you think?


---> almost forgot- here is another shot of skinnys from Ruehl... which again i was kind of pleasantly surprised at the turn out of them as well.  the lighting is really bad in this picture b/c their whole store is dark- but i think you'll get the idea.

I don't like the Express skinnies, but the Ruehl ones aren't bad at all, especially since yu're only tucking into jeans. The Ruehl ones look a lot like the COH 'Ava' straight leg which looks like a skinny jean on me but is still reasonably flattering.


grrrrr....sure wouldn't mind a Ruehl around here.

ummm where did "edit" go???? i can't edit my original post... grrr....


i just wanted to add that the express skinnys were about 4 inches too long... so they need to be hemmed... hence the odd bunching around my calves!

Im liking the ruehl ones, just prefer the fit better for some reason.They look nice on you! I picked up a pair of the Ankle Zip ones from the Gap and was really surprised at how flattering they were also. There are some skinnies outthere for women that have hips and back!!

I have the dark Express skinny jeans and IMO they are perfect for tucking in boots!  I think they look cute on you and you should go w/those!

I really like the Express ones on you, they look great!  And I think the Ruehl ones look too short (not for boots obviously, but for regular heels).

I like the Express ones because they have a darker wash. They do look really long, though!

I can't tell if I like the Reuhl ones because of the weird lighting.
