Hi ladies,

I'm thinking of opening an ING Direct Savings Account. It seems like a lot of good things have been said about them in the past -- let me know if you have had any bad experiences or thoughts on this.

Also, I think that there was a referral thing where if you refer me, we each get some extra cash, so please let me know if that's still going on and if you'd like to be my referrer!

Thanks in advance.

Sarah

I love my ING savings account and have had nothing but good experiences.  No problems when I wanted to transfer money to and from the account, everything is really easy.

If no one has given you a refferral email, I'll send you one.  That way you get $25 extra dollars in there if the account is being opened up with at least $250.  And I get $10 :)

You can PM me your email address and I'll send you a referral.

I've been looking into these - there are a couple other banks in addition to ING.  I think I'm going with HSBC direct because they have an atm card with the account and a slightly higher APY (5.05%).
