I only do the BIN when I just want to sell something fast and I see other similar items have BIN (so, I can pretty much figure out what it's going for).

I did it with my bebe kimono dress - there were a lot of BIN for $220. The dress sold for $140 - so i did a BIN for $165. I prob. could have made more if i just let it go for auction, but I really just wanted to get the money and I felt kind of bad for anyone paying that much - the quality just wasn't there and i was getting all my money back anyway.

How many days left in your auction?

If a buyer asks me about it, I usually ask how much they were willing to pay.  If I think it would go for more at auction, I'll say no, but if it's an offer I can't refuse, I'll say yes.

I recently sold a dress online and the starting price was $50, I paid $75.  I just wanted to get rid of it and by looking at other auctions, I'd be lucky to get $60, a buyer offered me $100 including shipping ($10) and I accepted, so for me it was a win-win situation.

This is a good idea.

i did end up asking what she thought was a fair price, but added a bit to it for what i was hoping to get for it..and she bought it.

i mighta gotten more, but she was really into the jacket and i am so lame because i like selling to people who are really into the clothes. (plus she has a stylediary!)

That's cool! Hopefully you'll get a chance to see her wearing it!
