which pair of shoes do you like better?

I pretty much went shoe shopping yesterday and only bought stuff that stuck out at me on the racks. I came away with these two pairs of shoes, one of which I am hoping to wear this weekend. I realize that they're two totally different pairs of shoes, but am curious as to which one is more lounge/club appropriate.


1. BCBG $49.99 (I kid you not...I got the last pair at Bloomies)...does the wood make it too casual. I mean, I live in CA.



I LOVE the colors, and I've been attracted to print dresses that have these or complimentary colors for Fall. (BTW, I'm totally excited about Fall again since I went to French Connection and everything they're making is in colors that look awesome on my skintone! Yay!)


2. Steven $54.99 (cute, practical, classic but a little boring?)

It's not that I don't like them...it's that they seem more 'trusty basic' as opposed to 'truly special'...plus they were more expensive.

I agree, the SM seem like such a "safe" choice for you, the BCBG are more unique one of a kind design.  Plus, I can't believe they cost less than the SM pair! Great deal! Definetely the BCGB pair!

lol, I'll have them up tonight...I think that MAY change things, as the BCBGs are a little long (I have short, stumpy wide feet) but the Stevens are the correct length in the foot. Plus I'm short (but I don't have cankles) so I am somewhat unsure as to how to deal with the leg ties. But aren't they beautiful?
