so a fire was officially lit under my butt, putting it into high gear. This weekend, I have a wrap party and a birthday party to go to.
BUT I have no cute 'going out' shoes.
This will probably be my only super-trendy, non practical shoe purchase this season. So since I swore up and down that I'd be working in a super-casual environment, I kinda didn't pay much attention to the cool high heels.
Any ideas....I just want a high heel (3" and above, I'm a shortie!) that's either very versatile or that's very special.
I have virtually no idea what I'm wearing...I plan on going to the Rachel Pally sample sale Saturday morning, so I guess I'll probably wear whatever dress I get from there. I'm also going to the Paul & Joe mockup store today.
OK so here are the guildelines.
open toe (peep toe is OK, but I have 2 pairs of peep toes and no open toes at this point)
wedge or platform heel (I only own the JS Barb platforms and I guess I COULD wear those if I don't find anything but good grief I'm tired of looking at them!)
color should be warm metallic OR fall shade of green/teal/peacock. (I love the leopard shoes but I already have the Magnolia D'Orsay's from last year)
I should NOT be able to wear these to work. At all.
price: under $175...I'm interested in craftsmanship of the shoe though. No cheap shoes!
Well, well, well... aren't you a busy little STer this weekend! I am so jealous you are going to P&J (on Melrose, no?)... I totally want to check it out! Anyways, if you don't find any shoes, I'm totally down for an expedition after the sale on Saturday. Zara actually has some cuties, not sure how you feel about their quality though... I know you didn't like the ballet flats cuz they were manmade, but not sure if all their shoes are that way. Anyways, come back w/ a full report on P&J so I can see if it's worth the treck across town!
