most of the stuff was not made with mae west in mind. actually these pictures are pretty embarassing, but me and lilah were bored at the house. my hair looks super gross, please don't judge! (and the wrinkled skirt adds much needed allure and glamour)
this came in black as well. too small for my chest.
i really liked the pattern on this top, and i should have tried on a smaller size. it has a banding at the bottom, though, and isn't very flattering.
this is REALLY pretty in person and comes in another color i think. but this is the XL and it didn't fit my chest.
could i find a less flattering dress? i doubt it. this was too low-cut and looks super dumpy on me. might look ok on someone a lot taller and thinner.
same as #2. hello, lilah!
this top is cute in person, but the coloring is weird. comes in purple, too.
otherwise, there was a lot of really cute things! some nice cord pants, and a few cute peter pan collar shirts.
I went to target today also and tried the Paul and Joe items- none looked very flattering on me. At times I laughed at how ridiculous I looked, so it wasnt a total bust, I thought it comical! I tried on alot of the same things you did, except the dress, which I didnt see. The one item I really did like and may go back to get later are these cropped pants, super cute on. I am normally a size 10-12 in pants- but, it took the size 15 to fit me- that didnt feel like a good #.
They are wool with a polyester lining- so would have to be drycleaned. Wasnt sure if I wanted to do that. But, like I said- they were cute.
I really liked this top on website, but was really awful on me. I was disappointed.
Wanted to try this top, but only had a small left- I think I will like this one.
Tried these on, they were ok- would of had to alter them, fit in hips and gapped in back.
There were alot of items not yet in store-mostly tops, so I am going to try again later.
I went to the target in brooklyn and bought the black dress in M. I almost got it in small, but it brushed my knees in the most unflattering manner. There was on leather jacket left and it felt so cheap. I wore the only cape in stock around the store for about 20 minutes, but it was too big (L/XL) and too itchy for me. It has the cutest green lining.
I almost got this top, and I might go back this week and see if it is still there. It is very cute, but the medium was too big and the small was a bit snug.
Erin, thank you for putting yourself through that & sharing with the rest of us. I'm really disappointed with the reviews on the quality. When are they going to learn? I guess I had high hopes for this one because the price points seemed higher to me....

I went to Target last night, and it had a bunch of Paul & Joe stuff. I tried on the wool cropped pants and this top. The top was super unflattering. The wool cropped pants were too small in the biggest size they had.
I thought this was cute, but looked too small for me, so I didn't try it on.
They had tons of the accessories, like the clutches, necklaces, and this cat pin. It's cute, but I don't know who would wear it.

I came, I saw, I did a little shopping.
There's also a shorts version of the wool cropped pants which I actually bought but later returned. They're cute, but I couldn't really figure out how to wear wool shorts in the fall. I tried them w/ tights and boots and for some reason it just never looked right.
kay - I went last night and they were pretty much cleaned out. No dresses in anything smaller than a L or XL.
I did manage to get the last 2 pairs of these owl skinny jeans in my size (1's for my sis). Really wish I'd seen the dresses!
IMO - most of the stuff was fitted to regular Target customers - too European and my booty wasnt comfortbale. But there was one jean style that was actually too big. I liked the silk boxes and kimono top - but $20 for the shorts and $40 for the top were too much IMO for Tarzhay...
