Anyone who has these, please tell me how they fit? I don't know how slouchy they are - do they actually come up to below the knee, or are they more mid-calf height? I'm watching a pair, but haven't tried them on ever, because I've not seen them anywhere locally.

I'd want these to be my "go to" brown boots, because they still aren't inexpensive on eBay, and for the price, I really want to be happy with the purchase. I'd love to hear what you ladies who have them (or have tried them) think.

TIA!

let me first say that while i don't have wide feet, i need extra space in the toe box area (i think i may be joining the future bunion club).

fit - i found these to be narrow. i sized up a half size, and i would have prefered a full-size bigger, maybe. (but again, this is a width issue, not a length issue..the length is perfect)

slouchyness - they are pretty slouchy! they are about mid-calf folded down, and come just below knee with the top not folded. i am short, though. (5'2")

all in all, i am REALLY happy with them, and think they are so beautiful and well-crafted. the leather is really soft and buttery.

Thanks, Erin. I am a size 10 and I don't even know that these boots are made larger than that, so that's what I'm watching - my true size. Are you able to post any IRL pics?

I found them online[, for even less than the auction price, but that site states that returns on sale items are for credit only...and it's not a place I normally shop, so am still hesitant to purchase...

I got them in my normal size. They were alittle tough to get my foot into at first, but once they stretched they were fine (and I was able to fit an insert in as well).

With the flap down, the come to mid-calf and with it up (I prefer this way) they come to right below my knee.

excuse my unshaven legs!

also a note: the slouch is built-in, so there isn't really a way to make them taller (unlike some slouch boots which are just a longer shaft)...other than unfolding the top, but i think they look better folded down.

Oh seeing erin's pictures reminded me- my calves are pretty thin and don't really "fill" the shaft of the boot so they tend to slide down a lot and look more slouchy than normal on me. Just something to keep in mind if you have thinner calves...

Thank you, ILC. And erin, again. :)

I do have thinner calves, so I think I will let these go and look for something else. I don't mind the slouchiness but would like them to stay closer to just below the knee. BTW they look *amazing* on you, erin!! I think I will just have to live vicariously though.
