i got these straight leg TR Johnnys this weekend, and have 2 questions:

First, how tight should they be?  i don't like my normal bootcut jeans painted on, but i like them to be snug around the hips and thighs.  does this look warrant that, or should they be a bit looser?

then, how long should they be?  i love the scrunchy look, but how much is too much?  i'm 5'2 and always have my jeans hemmed 3-4 inches.  i feel like i would want them to be a little more scrunchy than they are on the model -- am i off with this?

ok i'm posting 2 bad pics of myself in the TR Johnnys for length purposes since I'm the same height. This pair was pretty comfy around the hips/thighs.

I think you have to be pretty careful about the whole amount of scrunch thing, because I think that unless you're either extremely petite or you're always going to wear your jeans pulled over your heels, it will just look like "hi, my pants are too long and i'm too cheap to tailor them"

I'd tailor them to wear with 2" heels if I were to scrunch them a wee bit to wear with flats.
