Housewarming gift
Permalink Closed

My friend and her husband just bought their first house.  They are only 24 and have worked hard to get a house.  Since they are so young they don't have a ton of money and still working towards getting some of the essentials. and I want to get them a housewarming gift.  Ive never bought a housewarming gift so i have no clue what to get them, on top of the fact they are young so id like something to fit that.

I know I like picking out the gift, but I think a gc to Bed Bath & Beyond or the sort is an option they may like the best so they can get something in their style and need.

Since they're young and probably don't have stuff for entertaining, maybe some really funky but good quality stemware would be nice.  Sometimes you don't think about buying stuff for entertaining.

And, as cheesy as it may sound, you could go to a paint-your-own pottery place and create a one-of-a-kind serving platter for them.  I never seem to have enough platters for putting hors d'oeuvres on for parties, plus they could use it for family dinners, etc.
