The rules:



  • Under $750 (perf. under 500), anything with code would rock my socks.
  • Structured, but still casual. Basically no more slouchy hobos! 
  • Prefer zip closure, but will entertain all others.
  • NOT boring
  • Not something I can get at middle America mall (no Coach, Dooney, etc...it's not my personal aesthetic)

Here's what I have. I don't want to repear brands if at all possible.



  • White T-Bags Hobo (large)
  • Plum Hayden-Harnett Havana Hobo (large)
  • Black Moschino Jeans shoulder bag (small/medium)
  • LV Monogram Speedy 25.

Here's some stuff I like, but an not entirely sold on.


Mike & Chris Cooper Leather Saddle $765 (I'd wait and cross fingers for sample sale)...like the color and is casual but not sure if thi is structured enough.

Botkier Bianca in black (prob wait until Botkier sample sale in NYC so kind helpful person could nab for me)...I only have small black bag but could definitely use large one.

Or, should I just start an ING fund to save up for the LV Red Epi Alma, which I constantly have dreams about? It's just that the Alma seems too polished for someone who wears flip flops and flats 24/7 (damn sloppy Los Angeles is influenching my style! grrrrrrrr!)

Francesco Biasia ´Secret Love´ Flap Satchel


It's Francesco Biasia and it's available at Nordstrom.  Atlgirl has it in brown and I got to see it this weekend and it is beeeeeeyoutiful!  I think it's the perfect mix of structure and slouch.  The shape of the bag is structured, but the leather is so soft and buttery that it makes the bag not too "perfect" you know?  Anyway, I thought the bag is an excellent price and I'm going to get it later this month, hopefully.

i loveee this bag from satine- it is pricey at $809, but they had a smaller grey one that is sold out on website for around $600- maybe they can help you out in store since this one seems rather large.

I saw the Botkier bianca at Nordies today in person, and oh my how I fell in love.  It is the most beautiful bag, especially in this bluish color they had.  I was planning on getting the speedy for fall but I think have to get this!!

You're not crazy, but I was still paying off little miss Hayden-Harnett. Responsibility reigns here (kind of)


you girls are awesome...I really like soooo many of them.


I think I have my heart set on the Botkier Bianca though. Kinda funny since I've never been much of a Botkier fan
