I just received these black patent pumps (I wanted a pair for fall/winter - even though I have the JS black patent barbs - I feel like the cork is summery) anyway - I found these steven by steve madden "Zabrina" pumps on smart bargains for $50.  I really like the steven line - they're very well made.  Anyway - these shoes are hot on. The heel is a perfect not-too-high height, and they remind me of my manolo pumps in the way they look on.  I highly recommend these if anyone is looking for some black patent pumps.

I completely agree - the Steven shoes are really well made and comfortable.

I wonder if Zappos would do a price match. I need a plain black heel.

dang! I didn't even think of that! plus I could have saved on shipping... ugh. oh well, not worth it to return them and pay for return shipping... good reminder to check a zappos price match before I buy...

Oh D, I love you!!!  I was just looking on zappos yesterday and found a few pairs, but I like these way more and echo your comments about the Steven line.
