When you ship the package, do you go through Ebay and Paypal to purcahse the shipping label? Or do you just write down the address and write it on the package at the post office?

It just seems so...unnecessary to do the whole printing deal.

I just write it down and then go to the post office. I've never printed the paypal shipping labels.

Me 3 - and that's not stupid at all. I think it's very overwhelming at first! I myself the post office with a self serve option - you can weigh & print your postage label. I've had good luck with it! The one closest to me doesn't have this though so sometimes I have to wait forever...

How'd you do with your first sales? I am not so nosey as to ask for #s, but were you pleased with what you got?

i actually use the paypal function for a couple of reasons.

*if you sell a lot of stuff it's way easier to just go through them then write down the info. on a bunch of packages. also when you get to the post office you don't have to buy postage again, you can just drop it in the slot and be on your way.

*also it's easier to track & i believe they offer free delivery confirmation. i used to do it via the post office, but after being burned, literally the day after i tossed the receipt with my tracking info. i'm sticking with paypal, since they save all the info. and you can track packages through them.

*also it ends up being a bit cheaper since you don't have to weigh the package. so i usually save a buck or two, which balances out the stupid paypal fee when people use credit cards to pay.

Pretty decently. Not trying to make a profit, but normally this stuff would've ended up in the Goodwill. It's all perfectly nice stuff that I don't need or can't fit into anymore.

The only thing is that one of my sellers hasn't left feedback yet and I shipped the item last Monday.

I'm sticking to writing this time around...I'll probably do the printing next time, but I had just moved my money over to my bank account so I had a zero balance in Paypal.
