It just makes me so angry when bad things happen to such good people, but I can only hope that from what I have learned from my faith, with the thoughts and prayers of the 100's of women on ST who are thinking of you and praying for you, that some higher being, whatever that may be, will get you through this and make sure you are alright. You are so strong and such an inspiration to us all, but like others said, when you start to feel weak, SHOP ALL YOU WANT, AND EAT ALL YOU WANT!!!! We love you! GREAT BIG HUGS!!!!!

I'm so sorry, K... for you and your mom. Maybe this whole ordeal can bring the two of you together. Sometimes a difficult situation can bring new light to a strained relationship. You may just develop this understanding and appreciation for each other. I hope this will be the case.

I'm so sorry, K ... i don't know what to say.  i had a friend go through this a few years ago -- she had to have both breasts removed.  you're a strong person and will get through this with the help of your support system -- husband/family, friends and of course, us.  please let us know if you need to scream, cry, curse, throw things, whatever you need, we're here.


please take care.  will be thinking about you and praying for you and your mom.  it really does suck that life throws us these curveballs, but that which does not kill us makes us stronger.  hang in there
