In anticipation of labor and delivery, I bought those two skirts:

Vintage skirt made of ties, I had it shortened (it was floor-length), all for 10$:

I am worried it won't fit because I sized up....but this is just one of those dresses that would look horrible even the tiniest bit snug. Plus, I want a little room.

I broke my digital camera, so I don't have pics, but I had fun shopping in NYC! I got:


-black twill short trench, which will be a perfect winter coat for Phoenix.


-black short-sleeved, sheer button-down with tiny black flower print


-grey T-shirt/tunic with a waist tie


-tan textured, tweedy pencil skirt (with pockets!)

I bought a sweater very similar to this AE one but in Forever21 for $5.99 in a wine color

And also a blouse similar to this but without a pattern and in in a pretty royal blue for $5! One sleeve is like this but the other one goes up on my shoulder like a tank top

Thanks FP, I'm getting excited for cooler weather now, so of course it's sweltering here

Hey I know your not working now, how changing the wardrobe going? I'm having such a hard time doing cute nad casual, especially since it needs to be baby friendly.

It's going pretty good, all summer long I've lived in knit skirts/pants and my charlotte beach pants.  My next focus is to get a bunch of l/s and some s/s tees and henleys, etc in plain colors to layer and put scarves with this fall.  Now I just need to find something equal to my beach pants but in a fall weight.  And while I'm changing over I'm thinking for the future and trying to make sure as much as possible is baby friendly.  I think that you do cute and casual very well, at least all your buys look like they fit the bill
