I often find myself wishing I had some plain tennis shoes that aren't really made for the gym as I own denim pumas, green and pink con allstars, and green and pink roos all great non-gym sneakers but all very umm...bright. I cannot decide what black sneakers I want. I know I love allstars, but does anyone feel they are getting overplayed? What do you think

I know I want black and classic (probably to go with the previously posted white jeans if I hem them for sneakers), plus I am getting chocolate brown uggs (I know lame... but Chicago and Pittsburgh are cold!)

i wouldn't go with the puma's only because, i just bought a pair in march, and i only wear them to work and maybe grociery shopping things like that, and mine are faded so badly they look like i have had them for 10 years.  plus, i have a habbit of crossing my feet when i sit at my desk or in the car and the blue rubbed onto the white so badly the stripe looks gross.


i would highly recomend the chucks though(all stars), they hold up really well and are very easy to clean.  i have a pair that i have had since i was a freshman in highschool, and they  are still going strong.

I personally don't like the Pumas that have the logo on the toe and prefer this original version

I have these and I really like them. The fabric on mine isn't the standard matte finish canvas though.

I just got these in brown and like them because they look just as cute with dressier pants as they do with jeans.

This is a new suggestion, but I have Asics Onitsuka Tigers, and they are super comfy.


ETA: I'm confused about you wanting normal gym shoes that you don't need to wear to the gym, as none of the shoes you posted look like gym shoes.
