To Hem or Not to Hem
Permalink Closed

I recently got my first two pairs of true religion jeans. The first pair is the donkey wash rainbow joeys, clearly a high heel jean...the second is a pair of bleached rainbow bobby's. I know they need to be hemmed (being the right length would be key for keeping them as clean as possible), but I cannot decide if I should hem them for heels or gym shoes/flats. I just bought two pairs of gap straight boy cuts to be heel jeans, plus I have the joeys, so I do not need more heel jeans. I tried to take pictures to solve the debate

but with the fact that it is a fake hem and I really just folded them under I cannot decide. I am the type of girl to wear jeans like this out to a party with a black tank and black sneakers or silver flats and not feel like the awkward kid in flats. Any suggestions or opinions?

I'm sure that those jeans would be fun to wear with heels, but if you've already got more than enough long jeans and you'd like to wear the news ones with flats, then you should go for it and hem them!

I think they are more flattering hemmed for heels.  Maybe hem one of the Gap jeans for flats.  I personally would never wear white jeans with flats, white jeans are already so unforgiving, I'd need all the leg lengthening I could get.
