Ugh, so I just found out last night that my bf can't afford to take the time off work for our trip to the UK in like a week and a half!!!! I'm still gonna go by myself because my mom's already paid for the ticket and everything, but it sucks! Are there any UK stylethreaders out there who want to hang out? I'll be in Edinburgh August 2-10/11, and in London 11-15 or so. I'll be staying with family so I'll have people to hang out with at night, but I'm thinking that I'm on my own during the day. Please, please, let there be someone to hang out with me!!!

Aw...Sorry about your news.  I have to say though, some of my favorite trips have been trips I have taken by myself.  You can explore what you want, eat what you want and shop to your heart's content without worrying about whining from your boyfriend (if he is anything like most men).
