im really in love with this sweater from free peoplebut its $128 from luvcharlie.com and the only coupon i could find for it is 10% off. i really want to pair it with leggings or skinny jeans but i feel its a bit pricey. i dont usually spend over $80 on a sweater b/c they always get fuzzy nasty after a while. i already went on a shopping spree for the last week and racked up close to 1G in credit card bills....
should i get this?? & how is the quality of Free People? and anyone have a better coupon for luvcharlie.com?
ooh, that's a pretty sweater- I can totally see it w/skinny jeans and cool boots...sorry to be an enabler...
BUT- maybe you can wait a while and see if it goes on sale or you can find it cheaper elsewhere? Free People is a pretty popular brand, so it may pop up somewhere else for less or w/a better code...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
That sweater looks like it's worth every penny, if you ask me. It's gorg. If you join the luvcharlie mailing list, you'll get good codes pretty frequently.
Oh, and if a sweater starts to pill, just get a sweater shaver- they work beautifully.
I love it but according to the Free People website the fabric content is 63% Acrylic / 22% nylon / 15% wool. I would probably wait for a better code or hope that it goes on sale soon. Or if you are worried about it selling out, maybe order it from somewhere with a big window for returns and if you love it in person and think the price is justified, only keep it if you pay off your credit card in that time period.
I would wait to see if it went on sale or popped up somewhere else for less. I know nordies, macy's, loehmans, and urban outfitters sells free people among other places. I have found current season free people at loehmans for less than it was selling at macy's so just check around.

Honestly, a sweater made of nearly two thirds acrylic AND is 85% not natural fibers shouldn't cost more than $50...and $50 is pushing it. I'm sorry if I'm coming across as mean, but I think the price is absolutely ridiculous and REGARDLESS of how cute the sweater is (because it is a really cute sweater) it's made of crappy material. I swear the sweater looks like it's pilling on the model!
That said, if you are near a Loehmann's they frequently get in-season Free People stuff for like 50-75% off retail so I think it would be worth a look there.
While I think it's a gorgeous sweater, I think you should wait at least a few weeks. Over the years I've forced myself to not shop too early for spring or fall (with the exception of Nordies' anniversary sale where I buy the occasional fall item) because by the time the weather is right, either something better has come out, or the item went on sale, or a fabulous code is out. Bonus if you wait, is your cc will be closer to paid off :) My 2 cents...
