so, I'm up for this job... I told myself if I get the job, I'm going to buy myself a Fendi B Buckle bag...


upon stupidly browsing bluefly and seeing that they had paddington's up, I thought I would take a gander at fendi in the really off chance that they'd have a buckle bag... lo and behold, they did. and it was marked down from $1800 to $1488. Plus I had a 10% off coupon code I won (I've already exhausted other e-mail addresses for the 15%).  I freaking bought it. I did originally want black, but I like the red too (although I think this is more of an orangy-red and the color is called "tulip") - I don't have any red bags, and I think red is a classic statement bag color.  I figure if I don't get this job, I'll just return it. My reasoning was that I would save a chunk of money by buying this one now instead of waiting... ugh. I really shouldn't have bought it yet... please tell me I made the right decision by snagging it at that price! again - I can always return it...

omg - that is seriously a beautiful bag. If there was any way I could afford it, I'd get it, too. You did the right thing because who knows if and when it will be on sale again? Plus, like you said, you can take it back if you don't get the job. Although you might need a nice pick-me-up then...

thanks guys! I am hesitantly excited...


asf - yes I did "buy" one (the black small single buckle one) which actually placed me on an eluxury wait list at the time. when money flow halted shortly thereafter (aka lost my job), I cancelled my placement on the wait list and figured I'd just have to get it later.  then this one appeared (this is my favorite style and size out of all of them too - so hopefully things will all pan out in my favor and I'll be able to keep it - I think I'll be happier with the larger size as well )

I really like that bag in red, very fun!  Hope you get the job (I was just wondering about your job hunt the other day).  I totally see that bag with a luxurious creme sweater and black or tan pants and sleek heels/boots, oh and movie star shades   Very chic!

you know, the more I look at it I wonder if there was something freudian going on there (two big buckles) nah - I loved it before any of my crap started going down.


I think I will keep it no matter what happens - you're right - I DO deserve it!
