Do you know if the picture is going to be in black and white or color?

I think there will be both types...

I would wear pair of my best jeans with cute classic looking top. I just would make sure it is still really who u are but just glam yourself up bit more.  That way you can go looking back and say hey thats really who I am at that moment rather than getting allll glammed up. Its just my opinion.  And that's what I did and I still dont have regrets after umm 8 years?

Wear a very basic top (no lace or details because they look funky, even if the top is black... trust me!) in a neutral color that goes well with your skin tone and hair color. I've never heard of full body senior pics, but if it is then I would say the same for the pants. Anything trendy will just look dated a few years from now.

I agree with the suggestion for a basic top -- I often think that a v-neck (not too low, obviously) photographs very attractively for something like this, and then you can wear a favorite classy necklace. I think that a somewhat strong color photographs well and is better than a black or white -- maybe a deep purple, red, green, etc. -- depending on your complexion.

Here are a few guidelines that work for most photo situations:

  1. Avoid patterns. They don't photograph well and they can date the photo.
  2. Don't wear really bright or really pale colors next to your face; they wash most people out and don't photograph well. Generally, very bright colors aren't a good option at all, top or bottom.
  3. Wear something simple and classic that fits you really well.
  4. Keep your jewelry simple. You may love your wooden dangly earrings now, but 5 years, 10 years, 20 years from now, they may look ridiculous. Go for something sparkly like diamond or CZ studs in your ears- they'll make your whole face light up. And if the neckline of your outfit allows, wear a simple silver or gold necklace (whichever color the metal in the studs is).

As for the changes of clothes, you can probably have a little bit of fun with these, if they are full body shots that won't be in the yearbook. Most yearbook photos are just headshots, even if they're senior pics. I had a few full body shots for my senior pics.

Here are some ideas:

1. Classically Chic:

2. Cute & Casual

I would wear a pearl necklace, because they are always in style.

And if I were you I wouldn't wear the baggy figure-unflattering shirts that are out now. They can be cute, but in 40 years you'll want to have a picture that flatters beautiful figure you had in your younger years!

I think my yearbook picture is going to be the cap and gown and then the other pictures which I buy and pass out with my graduation invitations (I think) will include cap and gown, casual and dressed up & maybe one more. In most of my sisters senior pictures they include her whole body so I am guessing mine will to.

I like the second outfit that Kenzie posted and I think I may do something similar to do that for the casual. I cant wear any tube tops because of my really bad tan line

I was thinking about wearing one of my newer dresses either the brown v-neck that I have posted in TS before or my black and white flower halter dress.

Any opinions or more ideas?
