I got my Handmaid scores last night -


This bag is gorgeous, sturdy, well made and a great size. I love it and it's totally better than expected.


Now this. Did anyone else order one?  Because I'm wondering if mine is defective. It's adorable, but the waist strap is sooo short there is no way it would fit around my waist. I wear a size 26 jean and this seriously only goes halfway around my waist- it's a joke! I'm so sad. There was only about an inch leeway when I adjusted it.

oh shit! i ordered the fanny pack, too. i hope the length is longer than you said, because my waist is *nowhere* near 26. i will let you know when i receive it...

thanks erin. i can't figure it out... is it supposed to be for a child?!


eta: just checked the website and it says: 6.5"H x 9"W, Adjustable length up to 40"  


so mine must be defective...

i don't care either way -- it will be really convenient for when i take lilah for walks and don't feel like carrying a purse. plus for amusement parks/etc.

i don't know if they are officially 'in' but i have always wanted a cute one... always liked the gucci one SJP wore on Sex & the City!

My bags aren't coming until Monday..boo! I'm glad the Lady bag is nice though, I got one! A couple of people said their black leather is a little more structured/shiny, so I'll post a review once I get them. Sad about the fanny pack, but I don't think there's any way they could practically sell them if they were that small! I'd give them a call—I called to get a tracking number (because I like to stalk the stuff I buy online like that..hee) and the SA was super-nice and helpful.

ok, i went to look at the bag again tonight and i had completely missed the fact that the strap unbuckles and basically doubles in length... oopsie. i swear its not that obvious! so it actually fits fine and is really cute. i trimmed the strappy parts because they were a little overpowering on me. i love it now!
