Does anyone have suede boots (or shoes for that matter)? I've always been afraid to get suede anything since it can get ruined easily. I obviously wouldn't wear them in the rain.
After seeing that a few people got the Frye Bari boots it got me thinking suede shoes might not be too unrealistic.

I love the look of suede boots!! They don't get as dirty as you think, mine are tan and they did get a tad dirty, but I have had them for years. I also have brown and they look good as new. I think black and brown are good if you don't want to see any dirt or marks. Tan or anything else light would probably be harder to keep clean.
I have a pair of dark brown suede boots I wore all the time last winter and they still look like new. I did spray them with a water and stain protector before I started wearing them.
I have lots of suede shoes/boots from light pink to dark brown and I always spray them with a water/stain protector before wearing them. Then I wear them whenever I want, no matter what weather and I've never had a problem. I love the texture of suede.
What FP said. I don't have boots, but have at least 3 pair of suede heels. I spray all shoes, suede or not, with water-resistant spray before they're ever worn. And I wear my shoes for *years*. I think my olive suedes are the oldest (3+ years) and they look pretty darned pristine. :)
