What to wear to amusement park?

I'm going to great america on Friday and have no clue what to wear. I want to be comfortable but not too dressed up because it's going to be hot and I know we'll be going on water rides. What would you wear?

What about layered tanks (slate blue and white maybe) with some tan or khaki bermudas, and those flat brown leather Michael Kors sandals. And of course your Gucci fanny pack (if you ended up buying it).

i am a magic  mountain-aholic.  i am totaly addicted to roller coasters.  i have a uniform i wear, for functionality, and comfort.  i allways take a small messanger that i can throw a hoodie in.  something light weight but that will be slightly loose, for comfort sake.  i allways wear jeans, for the fact that i tend to get a little chilly towards the evening time.  tennies, and bootie socks.  the bootie socks help keep my feet and ankles from getting too hot.  tank top and a very supportive bra.  i wore a regular really pretty bra one time and went to look at my pic afterwords, and my boob was hanging out in the pic.  i would definately throw a hari brush in your bag or put you hair up in a solid up do.  i usually do a little rubberbandy thing in the front and pull my hair into a tight pony tail.  that way i don't have to mess with it all day.

When I go to Magic Mountain, I wear a Juicy hoodie, layered wifebeaters, my True Religions, ankle socks, and Converse sneakers. I personally don't carry a purse because I don't want to have to lock up stuff or be a pickpocketer target. I choose to wear TR's because I can fit a lip balm in the front flap pocket. My Six Flags and ATM cards are in one of the back pockets. I also pull my hair up with a plain elastic. I don't go on any water rides though.

Since you're going on water rides, I'd probably switch the jeans for bermudas.

Since you have one, you should wear your fanny pack. I'd also bring a really comfy pair of flips if I was you. I hate getting sneakers wet. Some Juicy flips are really cushion-y and Havaianas always work. I agree with Tashina...the supportive bra is also key...there's nothing worse than having your chest flapping around on any ride.

I recently visited Magic Mountain for our company picnic and wore something similar to this and got tons of compliments and was super comfy.

yah, i actually keep my cards in my back pockets too, and just stick my hoodie in my bag because i hate have to carry my hoodie around.  and i never wear it all day.  but i wear jeans with buttons on the pockets so that my cards don't slide out or get snagged.

On some rides where your feet hang down, they make you take off any sandals (but I still think you should wear comfy sandals because wet sneakers are AWFUL)...so if I were you I would wear the sandals that are at Target for $2.50...I wear them practically every day, and I love them because they're so comfortable, but it wouldn't break your heart if someone took them or acidentally mixed the sandals up

I would wear something like this:

The shoes are hiking shoes specifically designed for water, so they're quick-drying and water won't ruin them. And your feet won't get all dirty and nasty from trekking around the park in sandals.

I second Kenzie's outfit suggestion.  Your going to want something that dries quickly if it gets wet.  And something that won't become see-through when wet.  Purse would definintly have to be a smaller crossbody style or super cute fanny pack so I could take it on rides and it would be less likely to get snatched.
