Yes its girls, its true!!!! The lovely Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro have separated:


 


ET has confirmed that CARMEN ELECTRA and DAVE NAVARRO are splitting! A spokesperson for the couple says they are "amicably separated."


The 34-year-old 'Scary Movie' star and her RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS rocker hubby, 39, have been married since 2003. This is Dave's third marriage, and Carmen's second -- she was previously married to basketball star DENNIS RODMAN.


Carmen and Dave wed on Nov. 22, 2003 in Los Angeles. They were the subject of a seven-part documentary mini-series on MTV, titled "'Til Death Do Us Part," chronicling their lives in the months leading up to and including the wedding.


ET was exclusively behind the scenes for their anything-but-traditional wedding, which included a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. "I can't give away too much, but let's just say, when you do it together, anything goes," Dave said of the joint party at the time.


"The sweetest moment was walking down the aisle and seeing Dave with my father to the right of me, and then watching my father step back and let my husband take his place. That really touched my heart," Carmen shared about her 2003 nuptials.


"It was probably one of the most emotional moments of my adult life," added Dave. "There are no words to describe it. It was breathtaking. It was awe-inspiring. It brought tears to my eyes."

As sad as it is, I had hope for them.  I watched the MTV series and they seemed pretty good for each other.

just another celebrity couple who got together and split all within the same time frame of my own marriage.  I don't feel like I have been married for very long either, 7 years, and I guess by Hollywood standards, I might as well go ahead and celebrate like it was my 25th anniversary!

I think that any couple who has a show about their relationship on MTV or any other channel is doomed to get divorced withing a couple years or less.

It's so bad, I was watching the Daily 10 on E and they stopped the show with breaking news all serious and what not. I was thinking, oh my god, someone died or something serious happend in the world, but no, it was to announce that Dave and Carmen were splitting. At that moment I was thinking to myself, I think it's time to turn on the real news because this is just sad.
