What do you think of this one?  It was designed by Marc Jacobs for LV.


Manhattan PM


I already own in the monogram canvas the Speedy 25, Mini Looping, Croissant MM, and Accessories Pouch and I have the Alma in the monogram multicolor.  I've been collecting these bags for years and love them.  I'm not interested in those with comments who don't like logo bags.

I'm not a fan, but that's probably because I'm not a fan of Marc Jacobs bags in general. Plus I think the monogram plus all the details makes it so busy. I prefer letting the mongram shine.

Prissy-I LOVE LV too! I hope to start collecting in London as it's cheaper there. Anyhow, I'll be buying the damier speedy (I have the mono and a mono cles) and the mono pouchette. I do love the ellipse and the BH as well and the papillon. A tote might be good and functional too-the piano or larger sized one according to what size you like. Let me know what you get and I'll post pics when I get back with my goodies!

I am not nuts about that bag. To me, it looks like a MJ/LV hybrid, and even though I guess that's what it is, it just doesn't work for me. I like MJ's pockets combined with the plain, thicker leather, and I like the monogram canvas in a simpler design. Hope that makes sense.


Anyway, I like the idea of the damier speedy, like Jen mentioned. I also like these:

I like that MJ for LV one you posted.  I think what I like about it the most is that it is different from all the other LVs out there which is sometimes nice because you aren't part of the crowd.

I'm not thrilled with the MJ/LV mix but that could be because I'm not a big MJ bag fan.  I love this one Lilykind posted, it looks so verstile and easy to carry

I LOVE the Manhatten bag you picked out. It's such an elegant and cute bag- esp like the gold hardware on it. Looks like you have a nice variety of LV bags and I think the Manhatten would be a perfect choice. I don't like the Papillion.


I just got a MC Alma! Is it pretty easy to keep clean?

I just want to say I saw this IRL on a girl today when I was getting my eyebrows threaded and I almost fell of the chair because it's so freakin' gorgeous!

Thanks for all your comments.  Now I'm really torn I don't know which one I want.  I like the one Lilykind and Collette recommended Batignolles Horizontaland this one Tulum PMI think I will put off the purchase for a little while until I am 100% sure on which handbag I want b/c these bags are not cheap!
