Quick - Need Advice on Juicy Couture Sweater
Permalink Closed

Do you girls remember how desperately I wanted this Juicy sweater?

NMOS6_-0EZK

Well I found one, but it's a size large.  I don't know if it will fit because I don't own any Juicy tops.  Will a large fit me?  I am a 34C chest, but I have a thin frame & arms, but I also know Juicy is notorious for running small and people size up.  Is there any way this could/would fit because I want it so bad!  The measurments for the Large, btw, are 35 inch chest and 15 inch width across for shoulders.

I think that you would probably need a M (I'm a M in juicy and am around a 4 with a 34B), so a L wouldn't be super huge. I bet it would like fine, just a little looser than in the picture. I'd go for it- i know how much you wanted it!

Thanks Choo!  Here's the pics of the L that I found.  Does it look big?  I'm a little worried.

The only thing i would be worried about is that the arms look a little long.  And I am also a size 4, 34B and i think it would be too loose on me.

Would your rather have a baggy sweater, or no sweater at all? I think that's how you need to look at it, because I bet a L wouldn't fit exactly how you want it to (it'd be loose somewhere).

I'm 34D/DD and wear an M/L in Juicy tops. I think you're a straight M and that the L will be too roomy everywhere for you. can you return it?

I'm not worried about the arm length because I have really long arms.  I'm worried about it being baggy.  I'll have to ask the seller if they allow returns, it doesn't say.  Here i thought juicy ran small enough that this would fit me

Okay, that's so weird because I thought I responded to this thread..but my post isn't showing up.

Anyway, would you be wearing anything under it? Like a white button up shirt or something?

I personally like sweaters such as this one to be more fitted.

However, I think a 35 bust for a size large is pretty small. I think that's typically a medium.

I'd want the option to wear it w/whatever I wanted under it - so a cami too and that is what worries me.

I was surprised w/the 35 bust measurement for a size L as well, which is why I thought it could possibly work for me.

Yeah, almost every size chat I know puts a 35 in a medium. ..even places like F21 where everything runs fairly small. A 35 can even be a small (usually the end of the scale) in some places.

It's going to be slightly roomy on you, but I don't think it will look bad.  I would get it and if it doesn't fit maybe you can have it altered on the sides to be more fitted (I feel like that would be an easy alteration) or you can ebay it back.

I think its going to be too big on you shopchicago.  I'm a 34D and a Small in most tops at br/gap and a s in ella moss and I wear a m in juicy velour for a fitted look.  I think 35 is the measurement lying flat and not stretched out on the body. In a sweater I'm sure I'd be a comfy m in juicy. I would pass unless it was under $50 and you could resell it.  If you want I can measure out my juicy velour shirt when I get home and tell you what it measures.

Edited to say PASS since its $100 and you don't know if a) it will fit properly and b) if you can resell it if it doesn't fit.

i think its going to be too big too- from what i can tell you are pretty small. is it worth it to you to pay the extra and have it taken in if need be? the arms look really wide from the pic.

I have that sweater in a P and I would not recommend an L for you unless you're going for a baggy look.  The sweater is snug but not as snug as their other stuff (i.e. I could never fit in their P hoodies or some t-shirts).  I can wear a cami under it no problem, but I would need a small if I wanted to comfortably wear a collared shirt under it.

Based on your size I think anything larger than M would be too big & that sweater looks best worn snug IMO.

Thanks Vanessa - I was hoping you would respond because I thought you actually had the sweater.  I'm going to listen to you girls and pass on the L - I think I would need a S or M for the snug fit I want.  Thanks again girls!
