STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I went there last year as a day trip from Brussels. It was part of my whirlwind tour of Belgium so I didn't get to see all that much and I sometimes confuse it with the other cities that I saw but I do remember that I really liked it there! It is much bigger than Bruges or Ghent so I was a bit overwhelmed at first and kept getting lost on my way to the center of the city from the train station. There is a wonderful museum there which is outside the city center but easily reached by bus. Other than going to the museum and a few churches I mainly just walked around. I skipped Rubens' house because between the museum and the churches I was sort of overdosing on him. It is a fashion capital but sadly I didn't do any shopping because I was too busy walking around, eating frites and waffles. There is a designer consignment store there which is supposed to be good - I'll try to find the name for you.
