Here's my list:


-First female major league baseball player (when I was really little-only because my dad played and coached baseball)


-Flight attendant (and funny thing is my husband worked as a flight attendant right out of college and I got to live vicariously through him)


-Dallas cowboy cheerleader


-Soul Train dancer


-Cheerleading coach (and this one I actually did for awhile)

A Solid Gold Dancer. Yes, I was a product of the 80s.


Not really a specific job, but I loved to play 'office' and thought that would be fun to have a desk with lots of paper and office supplies. If I only knew...

First a teacher, then I wanted to be an attorney, lastly in PR working for some entertainment firm.  Somehow I ended up very far away from all that.

I was the product of sterotypical over-achieving Asian parents.



  • Doctor

  • Lawyer

  • President of BMW North America

  • Radio City Rockette (genetics against me on this one! you've got to be 5' 4")

  • Actress

  • Flight Attendant at Thai Airways (they had the best food and they were all sooo pretty )

  • TV or Film Producer

I ended up in accounting. The parentals seem to be cool with that.

- Writer who threw a lot of parties in the city. (Got it, although a fairly small city).

- Interior decorator - I read architecture and design books for fun waaaaay before even middle school. (Never got this one).

I wanted to be a neonatologist too! I only ever wanted one job...to be some sort of doctor. I went back and forth between plain old pediatrician and neonatologist. Even did my Career Day with a neonatologist. Seriously...I got hooked at a very very early age on health, medicine, and doctoring. Got into college and realized it was the health systems that fascinated me not necessarily the healing...and that's where I'm at now (Public Health Policy of women and babies). Guess I'm sorta boring.

  3. a belly dancer

  4. a chipmunk (I loved alvin and the chipmunks)

Things I still want to do:

I always wanted to be a teacher, not a good idea in WA state. 


My siblings and I played knee doctor a lot.  We got our tools from around the house and "operated".


I was also obsessed about being a princess to the point where I told classmates I took a helicopter to school!  I checked out Cinderella weekly from the library.

a bank teller (this is when I was really young)


a pediatrician (a stint as a candy striper convinced me that I wanted nothing to do with hospitals)


a veterinarian (when I was in high school, then I realized I'd be in school for a looooooong time)
