does anyone have any experience with laura mercier concealers?  i am in desperate need of a new concealer.  i have the worst kind of eye area.  i have a little darkness under the eyes, and a lot of darkness in the corners and no matter what kind of concealer i use, cheap or expensive, it settles into the lines under my eyes.  they aren't very deep or big lines, but for some reason concealer seems to add 10 years to my eye area.  or it goes on great, but doesn't cover at all.  i was looking to try laura mercier secret concealer but wanted some reviews first.  or if anyone has any other sugestions, that would be great.

I'm going to the LM counter tomorrow. I've heard nothing but wonderful things about it.

If you can find it, Kanebo's concealer is wonderful though I think it will be better if you have more yellow/golden tones in your skin. You also have to be pretty pale, because it comes in only three colors and I am color #3? I actually asked the lady at Barneys what a girl who's more tan than would have to do to wear this stuff and all I got was this look. YSL Touche Eclat is also good (and comes in more colors). Both items last a long time since you only need to use them sparingly. I particularly like that they come packaged as pens. I can use them for 6 months at a time and I'm a chronic product spiller.

I also liked Becca's concealer because it's a great color match (there must be at least 36 shades!). The consistency was good but a little thick for me. It does a great job covering dark circles though.

i am very pale, and even at my most tan, i have to use the lightest color of any foundation or concealer.  but, i am not yellow or pink.  my skin color is very neutral.  yellow based and pink based skin products look really funny on me.  i will have to look into the kanebo concealer you mentioned.

I use LM concealer and I really like it.  The one I have has pink undertones, but I'm not sure what the other colors look like.

I use it and like it a lot.  The only thing I notice is that if I put too much, it makes under my eyes have more lines than if I weren't wearing it.  But it really helps brighten my undereye area and I make sure just to use a small amount.  You could always go to the counter, have the girl try it on you, then wear it around shopping for the day and see how it wears.
