Money range is under $1,000 (but I want several pieces not just 2-3) so I would say I probably want to stick to BR, Ann Taylor, JCrew, etc. not Saks LOL! I do need shoe ideas too.

i bought some $100 Ann Klien suits from Nordstrom Rack last week for my new job. They feel nice and since I hate spending $$ on clothes that I don't want, I thought they were a steal. I bought some nice blouses from J.Crew. I tried LandsEnd blouses because they were on sale ($19) and they were really itchy so they are going back. HTH! Now should be a good time to shop, so maybe just spend a day going to a bunch of stores including department stores.
