I bought a pair of very basic Jimmy Choo pumps from Saks maybe 3 or 4 months ago. Today I cracked a heel-- it isn't totally broken yet, but I think it is just about ready to snap in half if worn again, right in the middle of the heel.

Will Saks take them back if I have the receipt? What if I can't find it, but have my credit card statement and the box has a Saks price tag on it?

sorry I dont have any advise but I just think its funny because I was watching In Her Shoes just yesterday when Cameron Diaz breaks her sisters heels on her Jimmy Choos!! Ok thats all!  I hope you can exchange it though!

That's probably what I would do.  Saks might take it back for customer service reasons, but technically it's not their fault so I would consult a cobbler first to see if he/she can fix it.

i would probably also email jimmy choo directly b/c i am sure this isn't the first time this has happened to a pair of their shoes. 


sometimes, the stores won't bend the rules but the manufacturer will.

Contact Jimmy Choo. When the heel on my Christian Louboutin's broke in October I took them to the store and they repaired them free of charge even though I'd bought them at a sample sale years ago.

I would try giving saks a call. They may be able to repair them for you or at leat refer you to a good show repair person. Sorry about the broken heel!
