I've always wanted these, but have never been sure as to which color is better.

these are the chestnut...they don't have my size.



(on a ridiculous side note: I'm pissed that I have to pay an extra twenty bucks just because of something I can't control!)

I always need extended calf too and get mad about the extra $. Even if I lose weight, my calves never get any smaller!

And back the to the main point...I like the black ones.

I love these boots and they look soo comfy.  I don't think you can go wrong with either color, but I prefer the Black, just because they look like riding boots and i always picture riding boots in black

I prefer the chestnut ones too. The sole is more refined (doesn't have all the grippy tread).
