I love silk printed tops..I wear one almost everday!  But maybe it's time to tone it down a bit, at least at my workplace. Last week my co-worker gave me a little handwritten note that said: Fashion Fine. $200.

Spring/summer shoes.  I have a ton of shoes, but the majority of them are for warmer weather.  Also, I have a ridiculous number of plastic hair clips, probably around 50.  I only wear three, mainly at work to keep my hair out of my face.

I'm impressed at the number of tank tops you all have.  That's one part of my closet I need to beef up because I wear them with almost everything.

I have always wanted to know why I am obsessed with JEANS!!!!

I think I have about 20 pairs- and I don't buy the cheap ones of course. I have to have Citizens or Joes! Why!?!? I only wear them on weekends!

I will forever be baffled by this.

By far it's got to be shoes.  I love handbags but for some reason I don't buy them that often.
I don't have a clue how many pairs I have but it's more than one hundred - which is a lot for me!
I also have an obsession with designer denim.  I have over 50 pairs.  I wear jeans to work a lot though, so I don't feel so bad.

I have way too many graphic tees that I never really wear anymore but keep for sentimental reasons...lame, I know.

Underwear is probably my biggest one. If they're cute and reasonably priced, I can't resist, no matter how many pairs I already have.

Also, currently useless shoes. I have some serious holes in my shoe wardrobe right now (black-heeled professional shoes, gym sneakers) but keep buying cute shoes for the life I want to be living in ten years. I just have this image of myself wearing all these things when I'm finally working as a lawyer (hopefully) and really have no use of them now.

Flip Flops (at least 20 pairs)

Hanbags ( somewhere around the 100+ and they are all expensive! I never go a month without buying at least one bag that is $300+)

Shoes - not counting the flip flops 211 pairs in there original boxes.

Yeah pray for me - I have a problem :)

Mine is definitely denim skirts too.  I think I have like 6 or 7 of them.  They are all different sillouettes though (pencil, mini, pouffy), so it's justified, right?

I'm obsessed with lots of details (beading, embroidery, etc), but looking at my clothes you'd think I'm obsessed with cheap crap I never wear.  But to be fair, I only started shifting to well-made, more expensive clothes, pretty recently.  So I have a lot of purging to do.  But I can't purge yet, cause I'd have practically nothing to wear.    I'll wait til the beautiful clothes outweight the ugly cheap-o stuff.

For me, it's coats.  It started back in high school, living in San Diego.    It would be like 60 degrees and I'd be "that girl" with the wool peacoat on, not so much because I was cold, but more because I love coats and the only time I could was if it was like 60 degrees.

The obsession still stands today.  I have quite a few and actually need to pitch a few and get some new ones.

omg, me too! it's some type of "coat weather" about 70% of the time in detroit so i wear them often (sometimes when it's even a little warm for one). often in the winter its the most prominent piece of your outfit, especially if you're out running errands and not removing your coat. so coats and great scarves have become my obsession over the past few years.

I don't think I have anything that qualifies as an obsession, but I definitely own more jackets than are really practical. That covers both "outerwear" jackets--which I almost never wear in New York, because it's either too warm for them or it's cold enough that I need a substantial coat--and jackets/blazers. My problem is that I am a total sucker for all the looks they show in Lucky with gorgeous, tailored blazers--I instantly summon this fantasy of myself rocking the hell out of a client presentation in one of those outfits--except I have no need whatsoever for outfits like that in my everyday life.

I have seven things from Rachel Pally...five of them are dresses. I believe a third of my dress collection is officially RP at this point. I buy a new one or two everytime she has a sample sale. I can't help it...some of the styles look great on me and they're so comfy but reasonably pulled together!
