i'm so so sorry detroit. please know that you're in my thoughts and if there is anything at all that i can do to help, just let me know and it will be done.
thanks again for the well wishes - that means a lot to me
I did find out through the nurse at my gyno that there are 2 clusters of microcalcifications (through some research, I've learned that clusters of microcalcifications are typical of precancerous or malignant cells). What will happen tomorrow is they will take a closer look, then determine on the spot if they need to schedule a biopsy. I'm remaining positive and hoping that all signs point to benign, since calcifications are fairly common, but I'll be ok if it's cancer too. If they are malignant, its most likely a lumpectomy and radiation. Catching it early makes all the difference. My appointment is at 2 tomorrow - I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes.
again, thanks for your well wishes and positive thoughts -- it's my hope that I'll report back that I'm in the clear tomorrow

{{{{{hugs}}}}}} I would be distracted, too. Health issues, whether yours or a parents' are scary and when they both hit at the same time, that's even worse. Keep us posted!
I'm sorry you are having such a hard time right now in your life. Just remember things happen for a reason and usually its nothing that we can't handle. If you have been having regular screenings then you probably caught this early and a lot of progress has been made especially with breast cancer. Just keep up your positive attitude.
Is it insensitive to say that the purse is awesome??? I certainly hope not cause it is.
lol - thanks! I posted it kind of laughing at myself about my "shopping therapy" (it works!) I almost bought that bag before, and feeling sorry for myself was the perfect excuse to buy it (plus the price)
