I find Anthro totally exasperating sometimes. Although they are not the only ones with the gall to charge $78 for a t-shirt, I think their prices are ridiculous sometimes. They have many beautiful things that are made well and fit well. I'm more than willing to pay for those items. But they also have things sometimes that are not so great and NOT priced accordingly.

I do understand that it's by Orla Kiely and therefore pricey. In fact, it seems to me that they are carrying more expensive brands than they used to, e.g. Twelfth Street, Generra, Lulu Guinness shoes, Anna Corinna bags. I guess I'm just glad that they still tend to have pretty good sales...

the good thing about anthro's stuff getting pricier is that it will all just go on sale faster! trust me ( i used to work there), those tees will not sell.. the $48 tees barely sell

I have such a love/hate relationship with Anthro, it's infuriating, really.

I love their clothes, hate their prices. Love their sales, but hate the fact that there's not a store near me. I also hate the fact that the prices (especially sales prices) vary quite a lot between the store and the website. So aggravating.

But it's like crack...I just can't stop!

What bugs me the most is when things are supposedly on sale and they're just a few dollars cheaper than the original price.
