So I finally decided to stop sifting through make up bags to find what I need.I got one of those drawers (a few of you said that works for you). Hopefully this work for me. I actually need one more of these- but that's next weekends project. Does anyone else have diffrent ways that keep them organized? Here are pics:


 

I will end up flipping the NARS ones over so that I can see what colors they are without having to open up every single one.

I think that is a pretty good shelf organization you have going on there.  I think in mine I have face stuff in the top, eyes in the middle, and lips in the third one also.  It works for me.  I have a cup on my vanity that I put all my brushes in because I didn't know what else to do with that cup and it matched my bathroom set.

wow, that's totally my next project! thanks carmen for the inspiration!


right now i have my makeup thrown about in those gift boxes that perfume comes in. they are not organized in any order. yeah i know that's really sad.

ALL of my make-up is stored in those 3-drawer containers, I got mine from the Dollar Stores.....or The Container Store; Joe hates them, but it keeps me organized. LOL I have my eyeshadow, lipsticks, lipglosses in separate drawers, same for the powder & eye & lip liners.

Oh my gosh I need one of these, I have absolutely no organization. I have a pretty big bag sitting on my sink, full of all sorts of crap - hair clips, random jewelry, perfumes, makeup, buttons....I'm always going back and forth between cities because of my two jobs and my family, so it's great when I have to pick up and leave at a moment's notice. But for the other 99% of the time, I have no idea where anything is! All my makeup is also in all of my different purses, because I'll bring something along to touch up later in the evening and never take it out... and maybe a couple months later I'll open it up and find a long-lost lipstick

Oh me too! I do this all the time also. It's such a treat to find something *new* in a purse though, isn't it? I love that part. I hate the part where I think I've lost things, forget I have the perfect shade of red, etc.

I have my makeup separated into three bins...something like this, but not stackable..


one has all my eyeshadow, another my "face stuff" like foundations, powders, blushes, and another my lip glosses and lipsticks, then I keep brushes in a cup and eyeliners and mascaras in another cup. I like the drawer idea though, keeps everything out of site.
