i used to get the freaking anniversary sale catalog!!!!!! grrrrrr!

does anyone know what's going on sale? i'm dying over here because i need new shoes and casual stuff!

am I crazy or is this sale usually later in the summer?

I got the catologue the other day too- lots of cute stuff! Especially cheap-ish cigarette cut dress pants which I've been looking all over for for a year or so!

I'll probably do presale tomorrow or Monday.  So far in the catalog I like a pair of straight leg true religions (black), chip n pepper skinny jeans, and various shoes...
There seem to be a ton of cute boots, and some MARC shoes just like these, but in burgundy/black and all black for $250:

There's a special edition Chanel highlighter.  The Bobbi Brown & Smashbox beauty kits definitely caught my eye. 
They also have the usual hanky panky deal (3 x 33), pumas, MAC kits, etc.  
There's always a ton more in store than on the catalog so it might be worth a trip there before Friday to check stuff out.  HTH!

Do ya'll think they will be "out" next year because of the slouchiness? I hate to spend $180 on them & only be able to wear them for one Texas winter (3 months maybe) - But I think the heel is low enough that I could use them in NY in November maybe....my black Via Spiga boots are the most comfortable I've ever worn.

Did a bit of pre-sale yesterday.  I tried to limit myself because I know that I'll go crazy once I see it all out.  I got the TR Billy jeans in the catalog, the Trina Turk s/s sweater with the tie-neck blouse that is in the catalog and so super cute on, and also a Trina Turk suit in gray that isn't in the catalog but is fabulous.  I wasn't that impressed with the catalog, but the stuff they had out for the presale is great!  The lady I worked with mentioned that some stuff is already starting to sell out!

No, you don't have to have a Nordstrom CC.  It helps if you have a person that you work with when you shop there, but that isn't really necessary either.  I just went to the sales person and asked to see the clothes.  They were really nice about it.  I think that if you have a catalog and like something then you can call your local Nordstrom and have them pull it for you and then they'll charge your cc on Friday, the 14th when the sale actually starts.
