I think they can only look passable on about 2% of the population. I don't especially like them, but I can stand them on a select few people. I was all excited about the Express jeans sale, until I tried on those skinny jeans - and it did not look good! I'll be wearing bootcut until I die.

The 80s is not friendly to my curvy figure either...even though I enjoy seeing other people rock it, I feel all left out. I felt insulted when I discovered that jeans my CALVES couldn't fit into existed. As if my thighs not making it into jeans was bad enough!!!!!

I got the August issue of Shop etc, just about every page was covered with leggings! I will NEVER wear these. You'd think they could come up with some nice going into fall looks that didn't include leggings since I know a lot of people aren't even going to go there.

I like leggings.

I agree, its hard to pull off skinny jeans or stripes when you're curvy. I think its possible to work either..just not together...
