So refeclting on the fact that my last apartment had a dishwasher, I actually miss it. Someone here reminded me that portable dishwashers do exist (I rent so I'm definetly not into putting one in for someone elses benefit).
Does anyone here have any experience with them?
I'm looking just for a small one that I can sit on the counter top. Maybe like this?
It don't need it to fit a trillion dishes because it's just me and my kitty (if only I could teacher her to do the dishes).
I wanted one for my next apartment which is AMAZING but it lacks a dishwasher. Anyhow, my dad said that they are a pain in the ass because you have to hook it up to the kitchen faucet and it leaks and they don't clean good. My dad is old school though and they might have improved since he had one...
My friend has a portable washing machine, which is kind of the same idea in that you have to hook them both up to the kitchen faucet and it can definitely leak. My friend has had some messes in her kitchen because of it. By the time, the leaking mess was cleaned up, dishes could already have been hand-washed. I don't think it's worth it to buy one.
hey ladies I do have to say I love, love my portabale dishwasher its a full size one. I have never had any leaks anywhere it does a wonderfull job. It is beautiful black the same color of my car and my smooth top range as well. This is truely a blessing to be able to have them all and in black.
